ENROLL-this word means to join, enlist in, subscribe too etc. Probably each of us is enrolled in some activity, or organization of one type or another. Today, I want to plead for enrollment into an entirely different, new organization which I will dub “World Organization of Spiritual Union”. Currently, most of us are enrolled into some “religious” organization, which by its’ very nature pits itself against all other such organizations. Many others profess no religious affiliation at all. In fact, they deny the existence of a supreme being of any kind; no one can prove them wrong. However, the upshot of this all is simple to see. We all are divided by basic proclamation, “I am right and you are wrong”. Would it be asking too much for each of us to humble ourselves to the recognition of our one commonality, our humanness? Why is it that we must harbor actual hatred of each other because of differences in religious beliefs? Why must we first undergo a degree of indoctrination and ritualistic enrollment if we choose to accept a different religious viewpoint? Why do some megachurches require review of a person’s income tax return before admission is granted. (I will admit that I personally know of no such instance, but have heard anecdotally of many). Why do entire factions and even nations and/or geographic regions war and battle over religious differences? The answer seems clear to me. Number one, we, in our arrogance, simply cannot tolerate the notion that someone believes differently than we. More subtly, the reason frequently runs much deeper, money. The greater the membership, the larger the money basket must be. Given all of that, why can’t we come to the sensible reality that if we are to survive as a species, we must unite in one common acceptance; we all are of one common generator; we all possess one common essence, humanness. If we all could humble ourselves into the knowledge and acceptance of our common “spirituality”, then religious differences would become immaterial. I subscribe to the belief that each and every religious organization in existence has something to offer in terms of understanding and accepting our common “spirituality”. So how about each of us, as singular individuals, enroll in the unchartered “World Organization of Spiritual Union”. I say unchartered because it needs no charter. It needs only the humility of acceptance of equality with our fellow man. As a Christian, I recall such a directive as being Jesus’ only direct “command” to us; LOVE YOUR GOD WITH YOUR ALL AND LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF (paraphrased). I have published a complete, irrefutable philosophy regarding such matters , WILDERNESS CRY. I would strongly urge each of you to read it. Available all major on-line book retailers. God has blessed us all with our lives and redemption. Can’t we show a little thanksgiving and humility by graciously accepting His blessings? handg@comcast.net

PERMIT-WILDERNESS CRY- HILARY L HUNT MD
PERMIT-This word means to allow a course of action. Permits are issued and authorized for all sorts of legal and/or civic activities. Likewise, requests for permits may be denied for multiple and varied reasons. In the case of religion, Christians have been denied permission to perform as sorts of activities throughout the ages. Some classic examples, probably not known about by the younger set, were the multiple prohibitions regarding fasting, eating flesh of warm-blooded animals, taking communion etc. For instance, Catholics were not permitted to eat more than one full meal per day during the forty days of Lent; Sundays being the exception. Likewise Catholics were not permitted to eat meat (flesh of warm-blooded animals) any day during Lent except Sunday; neither were they allowed to eat such meat on any Friday throughout the year. Likewise Catholics were not permitted to take the Eucharist (Holy Communion) if they had eaten anything or taken even the tinniest sip of any liquid after midnight the night before. With the advent of the second Vatican council, many of those restrictions were lifted and/or altered significantly. Whereas in former days Catholics were prohibited from “receiving” if they were not completely fasting after midnight, and neither were they permitted to allow their teeth to touch the communion host under “pain of Mortal sin”, nowadays no fasting at all is required; likewise we are encouraged to vigorously chew the communion host as though eating a hamburger. In the realm of reproduction and sex, in former days the pulpits riled against artificial birth control of any kind except the hapless so-called “rhythm system”. The word “abortion” was so horrific as to be seldom even mentioned. Non-fertile couples were never allowed to even consider outside scientific assistance such as in-vitro fertilization in attaining pregnancy. To my knowledge, not one of those prohibitions has been officially eliminated. However, the only one ever mentioned is abortion. The reason is very clear to ascertain; persistent riling against common-sense practices drive the faithful away from the church. Of course, that would be the greatest catastrophe of all; not because of moral implications but, rather, because of the loss of POWER, MONEY, AND CONTROL of the masses. The loss of money is obviously the most important consideration. As in almost any organization, there are Conservative and Liberal factions. The Conservatives in the Catholic hierarchy, demand iron-fisted rules and regulations aimed at keeping the constituents under absolute central, dictatorial, control. Liberals, on the other hand, seek to return the the practice of Christian worship to local governance. Also, and just as important, if not more-so, they seek to be more, if not, all- inclusive in their membership. They seek to unite under one communion of spirituality; that being, of course, the recognition by all that each of us is the mirror image of our common creator. In that sense we all are irretrievably united in one common spirituality, The Spirit of God (The Holy Spirit). Under the supreme theocratic dictatorship of the Vatican and like High-holy places around the globe, such union would never be permitted. I have expressed this complete philosophy in my powerful little book, Wilderness Cry. It is available all major on-line book vendors, hard-copy and digital. I strongly urge your consideration for the preservation of the human race. handg@comcast.net.
SYMPATHIZE-WILDERNESS CRY- HILARY L HUNT MD
SYMPATHIZE-This word means to feel and/or express compassion, sorrow, regret etc. toward someone or group. Likely, we all have had many occasions to feel or express sympathy toward others. One would be heartless not to sympathize with the the victims of terrible hurricanes, earthquakes, tornadoes, war torn migrants etc. Likewise we feel deep sadness for families experiencing terrible disease such as cancer. The list of events and situations obliging sympathy seemingly is endless. One major elicitor of sympathy for the informed is the endless set of atrocities perpetrated on the human race by organized religion. From the earliest days of recorded history, some “religious” group or another has committed merciless torture, exile and even death on individuals, groups and entire nations. In relative “modern times”, 325 AD on, the main culprits have been Christians, Jews and Muslims. As generic groups, they have been embattled incessantly during this time-frame. Prior to that period, so-called Pagan groups of one stripe or another were engaged in similar activity. Atrocities committed by Christians against their own were truly barbaric, and all in the name of Jesus. Heretics had to be put down. Witches required extermination. The Holy Land had to be reconquered for God. Even today, as always, free philosophical thought by theologians expressing any contrarian ideas to didactic Catholicism, is met with rapid harsh treatment, defrocking priests and religious sisters, and frequently with excommunication. This knowledge should evoke gushing tears of sympathy for all such victims. If we could describe the outward demeanor and expressive behavior of Jesus with one word, it would be non-bellicose. So all of this known history exposes the absolute tyrannical nature of the so-called Christianity to which we have been exposed. Jesus wouldn’t “harm a flea”, and he never once subscribed to violence. Our Christianity is and always has been a “sham”, all for Power, Money, Control. Jesus taught one simple message, LOVE. Realizing each of us is a distinct, unique individual, Jesus commanded that we must love (accept) each other as He has loved (accepted) us. If any group ever deserved sympathy, it is the entire world-wide Christian community (33,000 denominations deep). I have elucidated this and many more philosophical considerations, based on history and science and sound philosophical reasoning, in my powerful little book, Wilderness Cry. It is available at all major on-line book retailers. handg@comcast.net
CAVITY-WILDERNESS CRY-Hilary L Hunt MD
CAVITY-This word conjures up thoughts of all sorts; tooth decay, sink-holes in the ground, rotted out holes in trees, even Black Holes in our universe. The cavity I wish to address today is that of human disharmony. Everywhere one looks or listens, he/she is greeted with a cacophony of discord. We constantly are bickering, quarreling, and yes, sadly, fighting over some issue or another. When distilled down to its finite base, the issue generally has to do with conflicting ideas of morality, and about God, himself. Most often, those ideas are promoted as a pseudo-front for purposes of gaining votes in the political arena. Of course, that brings us back to the basics of the seemingly accepted human norm of POWER, CONTROL, MONEY. Now, I am certainly not naïve enough to think or believe that such a human condition will likely ever change.
My purpose is to point out what seemingly should be obvious, but what in actuality exists in oblivion; that being the massive cavity, void if you will, swirling black hole, of dis-spirituality and dis-commonality at the center of the human universe. I am unable to discover any historical document indicating the absence of such a cavity at any time since the inception of the human race. Is it too late to attempt the harnessing of such a giant cyclone? Probably, but certainly not too late to try. I am, in fact, unable to discover but only one meaningful attempt , JESUS.
When Jesus appeared on the scene, He saw exactly what we see today; bickering, warring, cheating, lying, stealing, hoity attitudes and the like. “An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth” attitude was/is the accepted norm. He readily recognized two very important concepts;
one-people’s attitudes and understandings must change if peace were to prevail; two-He would be killed for saying so. He went about, typically in isolated areas, spreading His message as discretely and quickly as possible before his inevitable apprehension and death. Jesus tried desperately hard to fill that massive swirling cavity of ignorance and arrogance, to calm that massive cavitating cyclone of evil which he observed so that the waters of calm could gently fill the void in the sea of humanity. And what was that magic message? One simple little word LOVE. You might say, “wait just one minute. How can love do all that?” In order to understand we must know the meaning of the word love; simply stated love means “acceptance“.
Jesus readily understood each person’s differences. However, He also knew the one thing that makes us alike, the commonality of our spirituality. He knew that his Spirit, his Father’s Spirit, and the Spirit of everything in existence were united in communion by The Holy Spirit, the Will of God. He tried desperately hard to impart that message to his biased, ignorant companions. I must say, it is impossible for me to ascertain just how successful, if at all, he was in his efforts. Early Christian history is scant, but as best I can determine, the earliest followers went about breaking bread and praising God with prayers and songs of thanksgiving for the saving death of Jesus. The word Eucharist means thanksgiving. It was not a sacrificial offering, rather it was a memorial as Jesus had suggested. Better still, it represented an innate understanding that God resides in all things—for that, we must be thankful.
So fast-forward to today. The massive cavity is growing by leaps and bounds. The world is torn to shreds by religious factions and/or ideologies attempting to impose their will on the rest of the world. We are, in fact, seemingly teetering on the brink of total extinction. Why? That massive cavity of a bellicose nature generated by religions and ideologies is responsible. Somehow, some way, some one must step forward and start a massive campaign of love. Instead of our priests and preachers hammering every word of a book so as to demonize us and set us apart, they must concentrate on the only word of value in that book, love.
We all are God’s children, and, as such, are united by that common bond. We must cease being Divided Christians, Muslims , Jews, Buddhist, Hindus, etc. We must immediately become one people under God in whatever way one may consider that. Then and only then can our humanity be preserved. You may read my entire philosophy in my books Wilderness Cry and Peace in Spirituality- all on-line vendors. handg@comcast.net.

MISSING-Wilderness Cry- Hilary L Hunt MD
MISSING- What a beautifully appropriate word for our time, and for all times past. Just a casual glance at our world today as well as our world throughout history will expose one glaring reality. That reality is the fact that the one ingredient necessary for peace and happiness is woefully missing from our world -wide society. And what might that missing ingredient be? Plainly stated it is SPIRITUALITY. Likely, each of us has been inculcated to some degree or another with some form of religion and/or ideology. Each of those entities is different from all others generally and/or specifically. There is no singular uniting force to be found among them. For that singular reason, people throughout all ages have been divided against each other. The result is obvious; perpetual hostilities; wars, wars, and more wars. Those wars rage on in every conceivable form and fashion; nation against nation, ideology against ideology, religion against religion, and yes, sadly, person against person. Why? Because the one vital uniting force of Spirituality has never, ever been recognized nor employed by neither “the kings nor the peasants”. As far as I can determine Jesus was the only person to ever live who not only recognized but commanded that we accept that standard as our directing force. Sadly, throughout history it has been completely ignored by each and every religious and ideological leader. Jesus told us in no uncertain terms that the only pathway to happiness is LOVE. And what is love? Very simply stated love is ACCEPTANCE. Jesus, being the genius He was, recognized that each person is a specific individual unto itself with no possibility of anyone having a likeness. Jesus recognized that each person, and indeed everything in existence, carries the essential image of its creator. As such, everything is united by that common Spirituality, The Holy Spirit (Will of God). How is then possible that we as a human race have never, ever, even for one second, recognized nor honored that simple fact? The answer is very simple, SELFISHNESS. Ideological leaders seek to control the world to satisfy their selfish greed of POWER, MONEY AND CONTROL. Religious leaders seek to demean and control their subjects by preaching a cult of guilt and damnation. Why? They don’t “give a damn” about your soul. What they do care about is POWER, MONEY AND CONTROL. They tongue-wag continuously and continually about a “mythical God”. Likewise they stammer all over themselves about the Trinity, the Holy Spirit, God’s Will, Soul, Eternity and much more, without having even the slightest clue of understanding about that of which they speak. No one is allowed to attempt to speak definitively about anything he/she cannot define. Recognizing that massive ball of fallaciousness, compelled me to do something never before done, so that some meaningful rationality could be brought to our consciousness. I defined each of those entities specifically and definitively. I defined God in irrefutable terms; “God IS A PERFECT RATIONAL BEING”. The SON is God’s Perfect Intellectual Reflection Upon Himself and being supernatural is a living being. The HOLY SPIRIT is the perpetual LOVE (acceptance) between those two Perfect Beings; THE WILL OF God is their Perfect Acceptance of their Singular Perfect Intellect . SOUL is the essential Reflection of God’s Essence in everything. ETERNITY is a STATE OF BEING WITHOUT CHANGE. GOD, BEING PERFECT AND THEREBY INCAPABLE OF CHANGE, EXISTS IN ETERNITY. Peace is not possible without humanity recognizing and embracing the absolute fact that ALL are UNITED by the COMMON BOND OF A SINGULAR SPIRITUALITY, THE ESSENCE OF GOD. There is so much more that I have addressed in my powerful little book, Wilderness Cry-a Scientific and Philosophical Approach to Understanding God and the Universe. It is available at all major on-line book retailers $10.95; Kindle-$4.99. I would strongly urge each of you to read it. This message must be promulgate and accepted world-wide for the sake of the preservation of our existence.Great forces are at work even as I write which are determined to destroy us. We must recognize the “missing” link and become united under one common banner, spirituality; we all are God’s children. We must recognize what that truly means and accept its’ command, SPIRITUAL UNITY.
LOOPHOLE-Wilderness Cry-Hilary L Hunt MD
LOOPHOLE-This interesting word is generally used to imply the avoidance of a duty or obligation by use of an ambiguity in a law or directive. Most often it seems to be used regarding tax evasion by the art of discovering and using those inadequacies. Certainly it could be applied to any circumstance of obligatory nature. My main concern is the division in the Christian world created by the multiple loopholes in both doctrine and its’ application. According to the World Christian Encyclopedia, as of 2014, there are 33,000 Christian denominations in the world, each one claiming Truth. How is that possible? It seems obvious that anyone with a different viewpoint, who can muster enough followers to support both him/herself and gathering places (church buildings), is allowed to start a new sect; such is the loophole of religious sacredness. Almost all of them use as their foundation a book which stems from a single copy of many, possibly thousands, of previous copies. We know historically, that Roman Emperor Constantine called the first Nicene Council because he could not control the hundreds of warring christian factions under his domain. Why were they fighting? It seems clear that that when Jesus died, there was no agreement about who He really was, nor what He said and did. There was no written record. The first apparent writing was done 15-20 yrs after Jesus death by Paul who claimed to get his information about Jesus through some para-normal experience. Be that as it may, Paul never agreed with Peter and James about much of anything, and certainly not about requirements of salvation. So, as later writings appeared, they frequently contradicted each other: at least the versions we have now do. So why do/did we have so many “versions” of the bible? My answer is the “loophole” of authenticity generated by each translator and reviser: they simply took “literary privilege” and wrote what they thought. Thus, over the centuries, there have been numerous “versions” of that book, and each stemming from one copy of a copy of a copy ad infinitum. In the case of “catholic” churches, their foundation is as much or more based on developmental traditions as it is the bible. Their main differences have to do with “power struggles”; a lesser degree with theology and liturgy. Because of all the loopholes I observed in a system which allowed for such dramatic division in a universal “Christian” family, I was compelled to write a synoptic but concise philosophy of God and His universe based on sound historical and scientific facts. I do what no one has done. I define God, the Trinity, The Holy Spirit, God’s will, the soul, eternity, and much more. I close all the “loopholes” for anyone who cares to peer inside. My book is titled WILDERNESS CRY- a Scientific and Philosophical Approach to Understanding God and the Universe. Its main thesis is a pleading for unity among Christians by accepting the two principles Jesus supposedly gave us; Love God with our all, and Love our neighbor as ourselves. Currently our division worldwide is so great and in some instances so hostile that we cannot survive as an entity. There are forces at work that seek to destroy us and will use the “loopholes” in our disjointed organization to do just that. It’s only a matter of time. My Book available Amazon, Kindle, and all major on-line book retailers.
FORLORN-Wilderness Cry-Hilary L Hunt MD
FORLORN- What an interesting word seldom seen in print. It generally means a feeling of sadness or hopelessness. I remember , as a small child, my mother reading to us a Zane Grey novel titled FORLORN RIVER. It was truly a Western Thriller that imparted many different moods to its readers (listeners); excitement, intrigue, happiness and eventual sadness. Some seventy five to eighty years later, I can’t remember the exact plot, but I do remember two distinct events in the life of the main character, Ben Ide. The opening line “HONK, HONK, HONK”; the sound of wild geese migrating awakened Ben to the days reality of traveling adventure. Migrating wild geese make a lonesome, sometimes eerie, sound as they wing their way southward in giant V-formation. Their seemingly half-hearted calls sound muffled and weary and lonesome; those effects created by their great height. Secondly, the books ending, which imparts a feeling of sadness, was deliberately created to cause readers to buy and read its’ sequel THUNDER MOUNTAIN. Ben had come to idolize Nevada, the book’s other main character, and he was deeply saddened to learn of Nevada’s departure. In many ways our lives take the twists and turns of a forlorn river. We have moments of exhilaration but also moments of doubt, worry, anxiousness, and fear; a general sense of uneasiness in our lives. Most of us have been schooled in the concept of a vengeful God who would do us eternal harm if we break His laws. Those laws have been painted for us in direct opposition to our God-given nature. That fact, of course, means that we are in constant sin and subject to God’s wrath. However God will show us “mercy” if we beg Him enough, but more importantly follow the dictates of one of the 33,000 christian religions in the world. Each one of those, of course, claims to have the correct formula for success. Each of those religions seemingly ignore the only commands Jesus gave us; Love our God with our all, and Love our neighbor as ourselves. The reason for that is simple; no power, money or control emanating from those two commands. Those two dicta bring us together through Love. Religion and ideologies divide us. You are encouraged to read my little book Wilderness Cry-a Scientific and Philosophical Approach to Understanding God and His Universe for complete elucidation of that and many, many more concepts. It is a complete philosophy of life. Amazon, Kindle, and all major on-line book retailers
VIABLE-WILDERNESS CRY- HILARY l HUNT MD
VIABLE- This word is used in so many contexts. In general it connotes the idea of ability to sustain life. That life may be in the form of cellular reproduction, or in the form of an idea or function. In the case of my book, Wilderness Cry, I believe the ideas put forth are “viable” because they are based on known science, history and sound logic. In total context, they represent generally a complete philosophy about God and how He operates in His universe(s). It describes in detail how we humans and all existences are evil by virtue of selfishness, but it also describes how we are completely exonerated by the death of Jesus. In delineating this philosophy, it lends credence to the concept of Gods perfection including perfect love. It is a must read for the serious minded who has ever questioned anything regarding his/her existence. Amazon, Kindle, and major on-line book retailers. Autographed from me $10 plus postage (handg@comcast.net).
Compass- Wilderness Cry- Hilary L Hunt MD
As everyone knows, a compass gives us direction from our current location. It is used in various circumstances, and almost always, as a guide. That would represent a physical compass which is important indeed in our lives at various times and circumstances. There is another spiritual and/or moral compass that has been imposed upon mankind by governments and institutions throughout its’ history. That compass has been represented and imposed on us by various ideologies and/or religions. Each of those compasses point to a slightly or greatly different direction. Like a physical compass, these moral compasses impose serious consequences if not adhered to. If we ignore the direction given by a physical compass, we become lost. If we ignore the direction of an ideology or spiritual compass, we are punished by either physical and/or psychological torment. The physical torment may be any combination of fines, incarceration, flogging, or execution; all of these are temporary and tolerable (this too shall pass). The psychological, however, is permanent; we are lead to believe that we are evil and that eternal punishment in the form of damnation is inevitable if the dictates of the specific “moral” compass are not followed. The problem arises and becomes astounding when we realize there are 33,000 Christian compasses alone on earth, to say nothing of all other religions. Each if those thousands and thousands of moral compasses are pointing in a different direction. Is it possible that any one of them is pointing due North? Possible but not likely. The reason is clear; not a single one of them is pointing at the dicta of Jesus the Christ. Those two dicta to Love God with your all and love (accept) your neighbor as yourself are too simple to preach. They impart no power, money nor control on the compass. For that simple reason alone, the world is filled with strife and, sadly, will stay that way. The only way to get on the straight and narrow of the correct compass is for all the religions and ideologies to “get off their high horses”, and humbly acknowledge Jesus” two commands. For a complete elucidation of that and many, many other concepts, please read my powerful little book, Wilderness Cry- a scientific and philosophical approach to understanding God and the universe; Amazon, Kindle and all on-line book retailers.
Inheritance
via Daily Prompt: Inheritance-It is likely that most would immediately think of money
and property when that word is mentioned. While that is true, there are other inheritances we seldom consider. Firstly, we inherit our life from our Creator in what ever way you may wish to consider that concept. Secondly, we inherit our genetic make-up from our parents; our physique and our general temperament. From there, everything is developmental. Each and every experience in our lives adds flavor and texture to our personality formation; our guilt, anxieties, prejudices, attitudes, understandings, etc. All of those elements help make each of us uniquely distinct individuals (one of a kind). I think Jesus recognized that when He exhorted us to Love (accept) each other as we Love ourselves. That is a uniting consideration. Religion and ideology, on the other hand, divides us (I’m right and you are wrong). According to the World Encyclopedia of Religion, as of 2014, there were 33,000 Christian denominations on earth, and each claiming to be the right one; what a divider!!! In my powerful little book Wilderness Cry, I plead for unity among Christians. It is a must-read for anyone seeking comfort and relief in their lives. It will give you understandings and insights never before published Amazon describes it a A REAL EYE OPENER. I would encourage you to check it out. All comments and questions welcome. I would haste to add that there is one more most important inheritance, THE KINGDOM OF GOD; we didn’t earn it . it is a pure GIFT FROM GOD.
