I have been readiIMG_1605ng many posts the last few days about anxiety, depression, lack of self-esteem etc. It should be noted that there is always a significant up-tick in these feelings during dark of winter, and especially near Christmas-time. There are two categories of anxiety; one type is generated by real circumstances such as concerns about where your next rent payment will come from. That is conscious anxiety and normal. The next type, which is universal, is subconscious anxiety which has a much different generator.  It is instilled in us at an early age before we are rational. We are made to believe that we are bad by well-meaning parents, teachers, preachers and others. Those ideas and feelings are stored in our subconsciousness. We don’t remember the specific incidents which caused the ideas and feelings, but we have a general feeling of uneasiness and don’t know why. The more we have been poorly indoctrinated in our formative years, the greater feelings of guilt and anxiety we exhibit. Greater degrees and extremes of anxiety may, and frequently do, lead to depression, even to the point of taking ones own life. Depression is caused by our failed exhaustive attempts to ward off punishment generated by the guilt instilled in us. We see defensive reactions exhibited in many ways but two stand out. One is the overbearing hot head know-it-all who has to be right all the time; would argue a point “till hell freezes over”, and all the time likely being wrong. The other in the cowed, meek, person who  exhibits no feelings of self esteem. Typically, that person is shy, backward, hates to meet new people, doesn’t like crowds, would panic if asked to speak to a public audience, and typically will cling to one or two people in their lives. Usually they live in constant fear but have no idea why. In my powerful little book, Wilderness Cry, I show how Ideologies and Religion are the two main culprits in causing those problems. Both of those entities impose on us ideas and demands totally contrary to our God-given nature. As infants, toddlers and small children, we are not capable of a rational analysis of these contrarian ideas; we simply are left with the built-in ideas that we are bad which generates guilt; guilt generates need for punishment; punishment generates anxiety which generates feelings of worthlessness and depression. I show in my book that religions and ideologies in general have ignored Jesus’ command for us to love one another as ourselves. If that were the norm in our society, our children would be inculcated in a framework of love and acceptance. The result would be dramatic. Universal peace would prevail, anxiety would be reduced to a minimum, and people would be God-loving and people-loving. It will likely never happen because of Power, Money and Control. Dictators and Church Hierarchy will never relinquish their Power. For an understanding of how to rid yourself of these anxious feelings and for a complete elucidation of many, many more concepts, you must read my book, Wilderness Cry- a Scientific and Philosophical Approach to Understanding God and the Universe. Inheritance

via Daily Prompt: Inheritance-It is likely that most would immediately think of moneyIMG_0360 (1) and property when that word is mentioned. While that is true, there are other inheritances we seldom consider. Firstly, we inherit our life from our Creator in what ever way you may wish to consider that concept. Secondly, we inherit our genetic make-up from our parents; our physique and our general temperament. From there, everything is developmental. Each and every experience in our lives adds flavor and texture to our personality formation; our guilt, anxieties, prejudices, attitudes, understandings, etc. All of those elements help make each of us uniquely distinct individuals (one of a kind). I think Jesus recognized that when He exhorted us to Love (accept) each other as we Love ourselves. That is a uniting consideration. Religion and ideology, on the other hand, divides us (I’m right and you are wrong). According to the World Encyclopedia of Religion, as of 2014, there were 33,000 Christian denominations on earth, and each claiming to be the right one; what a divider!!! In my powerful little book Wilderness Cry, I plead for unity among Christians. It is a must-read for anyone seeking comfort and relief in their lives. It will give you understandings and insights never before published Amazon describes it a A REAL EYE OPENER. I would encourage you to check it out. All comments and questions welcome. I would haste to add that there is one more most important inheritance, THE KINGDOM OF GOD; we didn’t earn it . it is a pure GIFT FROM GOD.

Theory- Wilderness cry- Hilary L Hunt MD

via daily Prompt: Theory- My book Wilderness Cry- A scientific and philosophical approach to understanding God and universe, certainly could be classified under the heading of theory because nothing can be proven. However, all concepts regarding God are theory. No one can prove God’s existence. We accept or reject concept of God based on Faith. My acceptance is that there is God. Having said that allows me to develop a philosophy of how God operates in His universe(s). That philosophy is based primarily on known science, history, and logic with minimal reference to bible. It incriminates ideologies and religion as the cause of all the worlds problem, because those entities are dividers; they set people against one another. Love, however, as Jesus is pro-ported to have preached, is a uniter. That is the basis of my philosophy. I define the essence of God, the Trinity, and God’s will. From those definitions come ready answers to all the imponderable “mysteries” in our lives. Amazon calls it A REAL EYE OPENER. You might want to check it out.

Gardens- Wilderness Cry-Hilary L Hunt MD

There are many types of gardens and many reasons for gardening. One of the most important types of  gardens, I would label God’s garden. It entails growing vegetables of all sorts to feed God’s needy children; “whatever you do for one of these, the least of My children, you do also for Me”. God does not “demand” that we do so, but He suggest we will be happier and get a “selfish” sense of satisfaction from doing so. On a personal note, my vegetable gardens have been expanded dramatically over the last few years to help support our Paducah Community Kitchen which feeds hundreds of needy free lunch daily, Monday through Friday every week. If you cannot actually grow produce yourself, you certainly could contribute financial aid to your local organizations which provide similar services. My philosophy is that we must love our neighbor as ourselves; the Golden Rule. For a better understanding of this complete philosophy, I would encourage you to read my powerful little book, Wilderness Cry; Amazon and all on-line book retailers $10.95. Autographed copy from me, $10.00. It would make a great Christmas gift for you and/or your preacher.

Chemistry, Psychology, Philosophy- Wilderness Cry- Hilary L Hunt MD

IMG_1171 (1)Chemistry is what makes/allows the universe to tic/function. Psychology is what allows/determines how rational beings tic/function. Philosophy is a System Of Ideas, derived from known and/or presumed facts, set into a concrete pattern by psychologically derived rational beings. Whew! What a mouth-full. So What? the what is that all of us so-called Christians are afflicted by a psychologically deranged personality which has been prejudiced by erroneous philosophy. That philosophy was derived from false scientific premises which presumed many fallacies. Those included the concept that women were intrinsically inferior to men, that they contained all the inherent enticement to sin, and that they were not the generators of babies, only the incubators; all babies were in the man’s semen. That allowed Thomas Aquinas to conclude that male masturbation as well as sex with woman on top were the worst sins that could be committed. The reason being that all the babies were being spilled to their death. Also, he sought desperately to explain the Church’s idea of God being some human-like figure sitting on a throne in heaven separate from His creation. Therefore he concocted the concepts of Natural Law and Divine Law. Not knowing any chemistry, biology, physics, quantum mechanics etc. allowed him to assume that God was separate from His creation; He simply made it to work like a machine but was not embedded in it. In that way Aquinas could conveniently perpetuate the Jews and Christian idea of a God separate from His creation. That was the Biblical God, which, of course, was created by the early Jewish writers. Now fast forward 2000 years. Chemistry: we know or seem to know exactly what the universe is made of (identical tiniest particles of energy, quanta, with different names, but each of its’ kind perfect in form and function. My contention (philosophy) is that those particles could not be nor stay perfect without the Perfect Spirit (Holy Spirit ) being embedded in them. Now, psychologically speaking, I am the product of each of my entire life’s experiences, beginning with my basic genetic make-up until this very moment; so are you. Hence each of us is similar but very, very different. We each have been prejudiced by influences beyond our control. Each of us has been inflicted with undue feelings of guilt by well=meaning parents, teachers and preachers. Those prejudices and feelings always influence our decision making and set us apart. I believe without doubt that Jesus understood the psychology (He didn’t know the chemistry), and for that reason, he suggested that we must love (accept) each other as ourselves if we are to be happy. So there you have it: because I know so many important facts unknown to Aquinas, I am able and mandated to develop a philosophy completely different from his while using the same logic techniques. Before I could begin the development of a comprehensive philosophy, I had to define God; no one else has. Explicitly stated, “God Is A Perfect Rational Being”. From that definition flows all logic. My powerful little book Wilderness Cry explains all; a must read. Amazon and all on-line book retailers $10.95; autographed from me $10.00 + postage if applicable. A perfect Christmas gift!

God’s Perfection- Wilderness Cry- Hilary L. hunt MD

Here’s a head-IMG_0082scratcher for you. Think on this; is God perfect? I think so. Well, what does perfect mean? To me it means wholeness, completeness. It is incorruptible, meaning no change is possible. I really hate to “bust anyone’s bubble”, but in light of our definition of God as “A Perfect Rational Being”, many of the things we’ve been lead to believe have to be myth. If we accept that everything in this universe is the direct result of God’s perfect Intellect imagining it and His Will (Holy Spirit) achieving and maintaining its perfection, then we must conclude the following: miracles, as we understand them to be (God’s direct intervention), are impossible; Jesus’ virgin birth, resurrection, ascension likewise are impossible. I am able and mandated to say that because all those events would require a “change” in God’s nature. Since God is Perfect, change is not possible. Change requires an element of time, and since God exists in Eternity, no time is possible. So where does that leave us. In my opinion, it leaves us with a natural born genius Jesus who saw through the universal evil of all things by virtue of everything’s universal selfishness. He recognized the “need” for God’s Perfect love to be attained and demonstrated. Since He was the only one to recognize that, He realized that He was the Messiah; the One to “pay the price”. It was His death that was the ultimate Sacrifice of accomplishment. His resurrection and ascension were not necessary nor possible. For a complete understanding of how and why the “myths” were created by biblical writers, you must read my powerful little book Wilderness Cry, which explains all in irrefutable, scientific, historical and philosophic terms. WE are rapidly approaching Christmas, a glorious time when we celebrate the birth of Our Savior. That celebration should be based on reality, not on myth. Jesus is the Savior of the “entirety” of God’s creation! Amazon and all 0n-line book retailers $10.95; locally autographed by me $10.00 + postage if needed.

Mercy or Love- Wilderness Cry- A scientific and philosophical approach to understanding God and the Universe- Hilary L Hunt MD

We IMG_0918are constantly bombarded with exhortations to both beg and thank God for his mercy; in the next breath we are told that God loves us. If God loves us all equally, as we are told, why should anyone have to beg God for mercy? We are led to believe that those who, beg harder will be shown more mercy, but likely none will gain full pardon, mandating a varying time in purgatory. One can say indulgence bearing prayers to shorten that time in torment. There once was a time in church history when rich people could “buy” indulgences, and gain entry into heaven quicker than a poor peasant. All of that implies a God that is a string-pulling puppeteer who can be influenced and bought. If God is “perfect love”, and who can deny that He is?, it follows that He does, in fact, love each of us equally. He sent us Jesus who graciously died to ameliorate all our evil (selfishness), and He demanded NO recompense (Perfect Love means acceptance without conditions). Therefore God is All Loving, not All Merciful. He allowed everything in this universe to develop selfishly, so His universe could function. If there were no selfishness, there would be no need; with no need, there would be no change; with no change, there would be no time, and, of course, with no time, there would be only ETERNITY. So, what are we to do. I’m trying desperately to do as Jesus commanded (suggested) we do; Love my God with my all, and Love each of you everywhere as myself. I accept that my only justifiable prayer is “Thank You, Trinity God”. Don’t you think you should try the same? For a more complete elucidation of these and many, many more concepts, I would encourage you to read my powerful little, book Wilderness Cry; Autographed copies by me $10 plus postage, if needed; Amazon and all online book retailers $10.95.

Love and Legal system-Wilderness Cry- Hilary L Hunt MD

IMG_0362The legal system in Western civilization seems to be based on the ancient principal of “an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth”. In other words, each legal breech deserves a punishment equal to the offense. That attitude,of course, fails to recognize that no one is born a criminal; that people become criminals by virtue of their pathological psychological  environmental exposure. When a young child is constantly exposed to parental or social attitudes which are obtuse to societal acceptance, gradually those attitudes become them, they learn to see as good what society sees as bad. They, in fact, usually know what is legal and illegal, but they are “driven” to see illegal acts as good and acceptable. In simple terms, they are programmed to do bad things whilst all the time seeing no problem with their actions. Recognizing those facts should direct our legal system away from an attitude of “punishment” to an attitude of “love” and rehabilitation. Obviously, dangerous criminals must be taken out of society until, when and if, they can be rehabilitated. That process would entail a cooperative criminal, willing to undergo extensive psychological testing, followed by definitive reprogramming by extensive psychoanalytic psychotherapy administered by trained psychotherapists. That process usually involves a minimum of twelve months. It would be foolhardy to think that all could be rehabilitated and made fit for society. However, I am convinced that this method is the only Christian, loving way to approach this immense problem. Within the last eighteen months or so, I have heard numerous knowledgeable authorities imply this exact philosophy. Until our society recognizes and accepts this attitude, we can never consider ourselves as loving. My book Wilderness Cry elucidates that concept more fully. Thanksgiving- Wilderness Cry- Hilary L Hunt MD

Throughout the history of our country, beginningIMG_0283 with the Pilgrims until now, we have had a tradition of giving thanks to God for His blessings. The tradition was celebrated in individual places and states at different times of year until president Abraham IMG_0696Lincoln, during the Civil War established the last Thursday of November as the National Day. Sometime later, the fourth Thursday in November was chose for the celebration. We all have so many things to be thankful for; our life, our families and friends, our love. I suspect that too often we forget to be thankful for the “ordinary” people in our lives; our plumbers, electricians, carpenters, painters, mechanics just to name a few. What about our farmers, our soldiers, policemen/women? I could name a “million”, so to speak; contractors who build our homes and commercial buildings, as well as our roads and bridges; truck drivers, train engineers, bus drivers, ship and airline pilots who transport us and our goods. Yes, even politicians who help us govern ourselves. On a personal note, our medical and dental providers. I was the first in my family to become a physician and surgeon and did so against almost insurmountable odds; I learned the trait of dedication and hard work from my parents and siblings, and for that I am forever grateful and thankful. As a result, there are now five physicians and three dentist in my immediate family; also, an extremely successful building contractor. I could be saying these things in a “bragging” mode, but that’s not the case at all; I am extremely happy and Thankful to God for all the above. What would life be like if we had to go back to the days of wood-burning heater and cook stoves, kerosene lamps for light, and out-houses as I and my family did. I am so thankful for anyone who has the talent and willingness to help me solve a problem, for anyone willing to be my friend and share their concerns and joys with me. More importantly I am most thankful to Jesus for His heroic sacrifice that I and all existences might enjoy eternal bliss with our Creator. One of the last statements in the summary of my book, Wilderness Cry, is “Our only justifiable prayer is- Thank You Lord God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit (Will Of God). AMEN. Let us truly enjoy and appreciate all our blessings and be forever thankful to our God.

Philosophy of sin- Wilderness Cry- Hilary L Hunt MD

HavIMG_0904 (1)e you ever wondered where the idea of sin came from? We know from study of ancient and near-ancient history that pagan rituals included sacrificial offerings to the gods as a form of appeasement in the hope and/or belief of avoiding disaster. The Israelis also had sacrificial offerings of one kind or another for similar purposes. The Bible tells us that  Abraham was even willing and ready to kill his son Isaac on “orders” from God; fast forward to Moses. We all know the Ten Commandment story. I have no doubt that Moses, having lost control of his flock and being a shrewd and wise dude, sized up the situation(problems) and came up with the solution, “Gods commands” of activity. All those commands corresponded to the Jews legal system. Any breech of these commands wrought God’s ire, and thereby was considered “sin”. God punished their sins with all sorts of material torment; the Jews had no concept of a hereafter except for an earthly paradise to be reestablished just for them only when the Messiah came. So the Jews interpreted breeches of their civil law as sin; in our society we call it crime. Crime is usually interpreted by Christian religious authorities as sin with eternal consequences. I believe that concept is a convenient contrivance to impart power and control with eventual financial gain on their part. Jesus died to expiate all sin (selfishness=evil) in our lives. That is the Gospel (good news) Jesus was preaching to his disciples, and he ask them to tell the entire world, so that man’s mind and spirit could be at ease. Thereby, mankind would be able to concentrate more precisely on His two commands (suggestions) for happiness; love God with your all and love your neighbor as yourself. For full comprehension of these and many, many more concepts, you must read my little book, Wilderness Cry. It would make a wonderful Christmas gift for anyone including your pastor.
