Silence-Wilderness Cry-Hilary L Hunt MD

cropped-img_0360-1-e1509913859388.pngSILENCE-Now here’s one for you. When was the last time you experience complete silence? Likely a very long time. And that is deplorable and sad for one simple but very important reason. It is only through silence and meditational experience can we join our spirit with the spirituality which pervades the universe, which of course is the spirit of God, the HOLY SPIRIT. That doesn’t mean to imply that all spirit is not always connected: it means that only through silence can we feel and experience the exhilaration of that connectivity. That connectivity is the love (acceptance) we can and must experience intellectually with all of God’s creation. Without it we cannot realize any inner peace, neither can we experience peace with our universal neighbors. Without that universal acceptance, worldwide peace is impossible. If anyone will take note, he/she will readily see how all strife in the world has been caused, and still is, by self serving Religion and Ideology. Most Christian religion is based on the self-serving principle of a theocracy emanating from some powerful central control such as the Vatican; you will do as I say or else. The rest of Christianity uses a book as its’ power source, but each entity sees that book differently. All of those entities seek to demean and divide us by asserting their authoritarian control over us in one way or another. None of them seek to unite us through promoting the one basic principle of spirituality Jesus gave us: Love (spiritually unite with) your God with your all; love (accept and spiritually unite with) your neighbor as yourself . Those simple but drastically important principles can best be recognized and adopted through the solitude and quiet of SILENCE. Please read my powerful little book, Wilderness Cry-a Scientific and Philosophical Approach to Understanding of God and the Universe, for a complete understanding of those principles. LOOPHOLE-Wilderness Cry-Hilary L Hunt MD

cropped-img_0360-1-e1509913859388.pngLOOPHOLE-This interesting word is generally used to imply the avoidance of a duty or obligation by use of an ambiguity in a law or directive. Most often it seems to be used regarding tax evasion by the art of discovering and using those inadequacies. Certainly it could be applied to any circumstance of obligatory nature. My main concern is the division in the Christian world created by the multiple loopholes in both doctrine and its’ application. According to the World Christian Encyclopedia, as of 2014, there are 33,000 Christian denominations in the world, each one claiming Truth. How is that possible? It seems obvious that anyone with a different viewpoint, who can muster enough followers to support both him/herself and gathering places (church buildings), is allowed to start a new sect; such is the loophole of religious sacredness. Almost all of them use as their foundation a book which stems from a single copy of many, possibly thousands, of previous copies. We know historically, that Roman Emperor Constantine called the first Nicene Council because he could not control the hundreds of warring christian factions under his domain. Why were they fighting? It seems clear that that when Jesus died, there was no agreement about who He really was, nor what He said and did. There was no written record. The first apparent writing was done 15-20 yrs after Jesus death by Paul who claimed to get his information about Jesus through some para-normal experience. Be that as it may, Paul never agreed with Peter and James about much of anything, and certainly not about requirements of salvation. So, as later writings appeared, they frequently contradicted each other: at least the versions we have now do. So why do/did we have so many “versions” of the bible? My answer is the “loophole” of authenticity generated by each translator and reviser: they simply took “literary privilege” and wrote what they thought. Thus, over the centuries, there have been numerous “versions” of that book, and each stemming from one copy of a copy of a copy ad infinitum. In the case of “catholic” churches, their foundation is as much or more based on developmental traditions as it is the bible. Their main differences have to do with “power struggles”; a lesser degree with theology and liturgy. Because of all the loopholes I observed in a system which allowed for such dramatic division in a universal “Christian” family, I was compelled to write a synoptic but concise philosophy of God and His universe based on sound historical and scientific facts. I do what no one has done. I define God, the Trinity, The Holy Spirit, God’s will, the soul, eternity, and much more. I close all the “loopholes” for anyone who cares to peer inside. My book is titled WILDERNESS CRY- a Scientific and Philosophical Approach to Understanding God and the Universe. Its main thesis is a pleading for unity among Christians by accepting the two principles Jesus supposedly gave us; Love God with our all, and Love our neighbor as ourselves. Currently our division worldwide is so great and in some instances so hostile that we cannot survive as an entity. There are forces at work that seek to destroy us and will use the “loopholes” in our disjointed organization to do just that. It’s only a matter of time. EVOKE-Wilderness Cry-Hilary L Hunt MD

cropped-img_0360-1-e1509913859388.pngEVOKE-This daily post word means to recall or bring to consciousness. We often us it to denote a calling forth or calling out. When confronted with this word, it immediately evoked a memory of the horrible atrocities committed over the centuries by organized religion and ideologies. The mental and physical torture imposed by those two entities is horrifyingly astounding. In the case of Ideology, always to maintain control and impose dictatorial rule. In the case of religion, always in the name of God. However, when one examines the historical content of those activities, it becomes obvious that the ultimate goal was/is the same as ideologies; power, money, control. The only significant  difference is that one is civil dictatorship, the other is theocratic dictatorship. Awareness of that compelled me to express my ideas about God, the Trinity, Jesus, religion, and a host of other  considerations directed at our existence in a powerful little book Wilderness Cry-a Scientific and Philosophical Approach to Understanding God and the Universe. In this book I describe how I was forced to define God. So doing allowed me to easily explain all the so-called mysteries in our lives. If you have interest, it is available Amazon, Kindle and all major on-line book retailers.

LOVE-Wilderness Cry-Hilary L Hunt MD

cropped-img_0360-1-e1509913859388.pngLOVE-This word has been a long time in coming for my commentary; it may be the most misused and misunderstood word in the English language. We hear it used in so many different considerations. Some examples: ‘I just love her hair’, ‘don’t you just love that dress?’, we love to shoot firecrackers on July fourth’, ‘I met my first love at a high school dance’, ‘I just love chocolate pie’. The list goes on ad infinitum. All of those uses imply a sensual pleasure being derived from the ‘experience’, whatever that may be;auditory, visual, tactile, taste, olfactory, aesthetic, etc. My concept judges that those experiences should be categorized by the word LIKE. Granted, strict usage of LIKE imply something be likened to something else, such as, ‘she looks just like her mother’, etc. However, more common usage implies a sensual pleasure being derived from some experience of our senses. I believe the word LOVE should be reserved for the basic intellectual acceptance of someone. In other words, we don’t have to like someone nor what they do in order to love (accept) them. WE may, in fact, be obliged to hurt or even kill some unjust aggressor because we don’t like what they are doing to us. That does not mean we are allowed to not love them. Jesus, in His wisdom, saw the necessity of love of God and Neighbor if we are to have peace and happiness. He loved each of us and all creation in spite of our selfishness. He even died to pay the price for our iniquity.  Religion and Ideologies set us apart and instill an attitude of hate among us, thereby making any likelihood of peace impossible. For those who don’t know, I have written a philosophy book on this subject; Wilderness Cry- a Scientific and Philosophical Approach to Understanding God and the Universe; available Amazon, Kindle and other major on-line book retailers. Comments welcomed.

PHILOSOPHY-Wilderness Cry-Hilary L Hunt MD

cropped-img_0360-1-e1509913859388.pngPHILOSOPHY-Boy! Did I just say a mouthful; a big word concerning as many subjects as there are ideas in the universe.. A philosophy is basically a set of definitive conclusions derived in a logical way from a set of known and/or presumed facts. If I were to diagram philosophy, I would put it in the form of a giant Christmas Tree. Each branch and/or sub-branch of knowledge is represented by an ornament. The most elementary subject ornaments hang at the very lowest ring  around the tree. Each progressively higher ring represents the next level of expanded  knowledge in any subject. At the very pinnacle is PHILOSOPHY (the star, if you will) atop the tree> Hence we say so and so attained a PhD (Doctor of Philosophy) in such and such subject. That means, of course, that each branch of knowledge ultimately attains the “known”, and reaches for and aspires to the theoretical unknown. What that implies is that using the known, we reason to the possibility of the unknown. Repeated experimentation with exact outcomes allows for the establishment of a scientific law. When speaking of moral, spiritual, and religious matters, the plot becomes thicker; the reason being the gross differences in what is accepted or even presumed to be fundamental truth. For instance, the great philosopher Thomas Aquinas was in gross error in his conclusions about male masturbation, and copulation with the woman on top. The reason for his error was not in methodology, it was in factuality. He accepted as fact the gross scientific error that “all babies were in the male semen”. Consequently, he was mandated to reason philosophically that those two acts were the worst sins that could be committed because all the babies would be spilled to their deaths. So, having such awareness makes it mandatory for us to be very careful in philosophizing too freely (without knowing the facts). In my case, I have written and published a Philosophy book regarding God and His universe. The book’s primary title “Wilderness Cry” represents my voice crying out for Truth from a wilderness of Ignorance, Deceit, and Arrogance. The secondary title- A Scientific and Philosophical Approach to Understanding God and the Universe- represents my philosophy of how that is. It is my discovery of the truth and its’ explanation based on sound known facts and principles. The one caveat is simply that no one can either prove or disprove the existence of God. My one unprovable premise is the acceptance that “there is God”.  My book shows conclusively how religion and ideologies have been used and twisted by knaves for self-seeking causes, and thereby have made, and continue to make peace impossible. My book pleads for unity among Christians and all peoples by the acceptance of the two simple commands (suggestions for peace and happiness) that Jesus supposedly gave us; namely, Love God with our all and Love our neighbor as ourselves. Love unites us; Religion and ideology divide us. If interested my book is available Amazon, Kindle and all major book retailers.

FORLORN-Wilderness Cry-Hilary L Hunt MD

cropped-img_0360-1-e1509913859388.pngFORLORN- What an interesting word seldom seen in print. It generally means a feeling of sadness or hopelessness. I remember , as a small child, my mother reading to us a Zane Grey novel titled FORLORN RIVER. It was truly a Western Thriller that imparted many different moods to its readers (listeners); excitement, intrigue, happiness and eventual sadness. Some seventy five to eighty years later, I can’t remember the exact plot, but I do remember two distinct events in the life of the main character, Ben Ide. The opening line “HONK, HONK, HONK”; the sound of wild geese migrating awakened Ben to the days reality of traveling adventure. Migrating wild geese make a lonesome, sometimes eerie, sound as they wing their way southward in giant V-formation. Their seemingly half-hearted calls sound muffled and weary and lonesome; those effects created by their great height. Secondly, the books ending, which imparts a feeling of sadness, was deliberately created to cause readers to buy and read its’ sequel THUNDER MOUNTAIN. Ben had come to idolize Nevada, the book’s other main character, and he was deeply saddened to learn of Nevada’s departure. In many ways our lives take the twists and turns of a forlorn river. We have moments of exhilaration but also moments of doubt, worry, anxiousness, and fear; a general sense of uneasiness in our lives. Most of us have been schooled in the concept of a vengeful God who would do us eternal harm if we break His laws. Those laws have been painted for us in direct opposition to our God-given nature. That fact, of course, means that we are in constant sin and subject to God’s wrath. However God will show us “mercy” if we beg Him enough, but more importantly follow the dictates of one of the 33,000 christian religions in the world. Each one of those, of course, claims to have the correct formula for success. Each of those religions seemingly ignore the only commands Jesus gave us; Love our God with our all, and Love our neighbor as ourselves. The reason for that is simple; no power, money or control emanating from those two commands. Those two dicta bring us together through Love. Religion and ideologies divide us. You are encouraged to read my little book Wilderness Cry-a Scientific and Philosophical Approach to Understanding God and His Universe for complete elucidation of that and many, many more concepts. It is a complete philosophy of life. Amazon, Kindle, and all major on-line book retailers

TREAT-Wilderness Cry-Hilary L Hunt MD

cropped-img_0360-1-e1509913859388.pngTREAT- This word of the day, as with so many in the English language, may be use as both subject and predicate (verb or action word). We, for instance, may hear someone say “I have a special treat for you”. Often such treats are in the form of sweets, but may be anything perceived as being special for you. The verb usage might be exampled thusly; “Don’t go in there. He will treat you terribly”. At the risk of being redundant, I will mention that I have written and published a book. Wilderness Cry- A Scientific and Philosophical approach to Understanding God and the Universe. This book offers you a real “treat”. I am allowed to say that because I “treat” the subject of God and His MO (mode of operation) in a way never before espoused. That treatment required a definition of God’s “essence”which, by its very nature, not only allows but demands a clear explanation and understanding of all the so-called mysteries in our lives. Now that is a “real treat”! It explores and defines in very certain terms basically all of our imponderables. Volumes could be written about each entity discussed, but that would have defeated my purpose. Likely, only the most studious would persevere through such verbiage. My book is short, sweet. and to the point in all considerations. It could, in fact,  be considered almost synoptic in form. It is available Amazon, Kindle, and most other on-line book retailers. Autographed copies from me by request (email- handg@comcast.net). All comments and suggestions appreciated.

Conversation-Wilderness Cry-Hilary L Hunt MD

cropped-img_0360-1-e1509913859388.pngConversation is likely the most used mode of communication the world has known to date. It can be verbal or cyber, even mathematical. It can be general or specific, sign language or code, pleasant or hostile, just to mention a few attributes. It can even be one-sided as in a lecture if questions are allowed. I have written a book’ Wilderness Cry- A Scientific and Philosophical Approach to Understanding God and the Universe. In this book I am attempting to converse with you a philosophy of God and His mode of operation, which likely you have never heard before. I call it a conversation because repeatedly, I ask for any and all meaningful rebuttal. In actually defining God as “A Perfect Rational Being”, I am easily able to answer and define all the imponderable “mysteries” in our lives; The Trinity, God’s Will, Eternity, overview of the science of creation, the soul. I show that God is Perfect Love which means “acceptance without conditions”. In applying those principles to our daily lives and existence, I am able to show that because of our failure to recognize the basics of personality development, our legal system is way off base in administering corrective measures. Those measures should be more in the form of loving rehabilitation of our neighbor where possible, rather than punishment. Developing those principles allow me to show that ideologies and religion are the worst enemies of peace because they divide us by setting us against one another. On the other hand, love (acceptance) of neighbor as Jesus suggested unite us and promote peace. You might want to check it out. Amazon, Kindle and all on-line book retailers.

Communal-Wilderness Cry-Hilary L Hunt MD

cropped-img_0360-1-e1509913859388.pngCOMMUNAL: I suspect this word conjures up a variety of imaginary thoughts among readers. In general, I think it suggests a commonality of thought and/or existence. I want to concentrate today on “one commonality” of thought. Just simple casual observance will show, indisputably, how religion and ideology have created turmoil in society since the beginning of recorded history and likely before. Regardless of whether or not one believes in God or Christianity, you will be forced to admit the validity of one simple concept, reportedly, given to us by Jesus. He told us to Love our God with our all and Love our neighbor as ourselves. In His wisdom, He saw those dicta as uniting factors. He also recognized religion and ideology as dividing factors. If we as a world society could ever come to accept Jesus’ suggestions as our guiding principles, there would be peace. Absent that, peace is not possible. For complete elucidation of that and many, many more principles of our existence, I would encourage you to read my powerful little book, Wilderness Cry- a Scientific and Philosophical Approach to Understanding God and the Universe. I believe you will find it intriguing and astonishing; Amazon, Kindle, and all on-line book retailers.
