Religion-Wilderness Cry-Hilary L Hunt MD

cropped-img_0360-1-e1509913859388.pngRELIGION-how would you define religion? It seems strange that, even in WEBSTERS DICTIONARY, the word is used to define itself (not allowed in my world). I would define religion as a set of beliefs, relating to the existence of or lack thereof a God, typically accompanied by a set of ritualistic practices. Those practices and beliefs vary greatly among the religions of the world and their various sects. As of 2014. the World Christian Dictionary listed 33,000 Christian denominations and/or branches of denominations alone. It is very likely that a number approaching 100,000 would be needed to list every variance of every religion in civilization. Have you ever wondered why that is? How can so many millions/billions of people have such diverse ideas concerning a subject so certain to each? To me the answer is very simple; we have no certain template. We have many, many loose group. For instance in Christianity, we have the sacrificial Christians (Catholics, Episcopals, Lutherans, etc.); then we have the so-called fundamentalists who accept no possible belief except the words of a book which have been written and rewritten hundreds of times, and which is subject to each preacher and/or member’s interpretation. Then of course there is Judaism with its numerous divisions and practices. Add on Islam with its multiple fractions and you have wrapped up the Abrahamic religions. Now consider the more contemplative religions such as Buddhism and Hinduism each with their subdivisions and designations. There are many others including Baha’i, Confucianism, Jainism, Shinto, Sikhism, Taoism, and Zoroastrianism. Add all these together and one would have an extremely large number of religions, branches, and sects. Now mind you, no two people of the entire 7.7 billion people in the world worship the same God nor practice an identical religion. Each may call themselves a Southern Baptist, a Roman Catholic, a Church of Christ, a Jew, a Muslim, Buddhist etc. However, no two of them either in their own denomination or in differing denominations have the same “religion”. Each is worshiping a different God. Unwittingly, each is, in fact, worshiping the same God but just doesn’t know it. How can that be? In the first instance, by definition, there can be only one God (Supreme Being). So, even though each person may think he/she is worshiping a God different from all others, it cant be. But still, each person in the world who admits to there being a God has his own idea of who that God is and what he looks, thinks, acts like etc. The obvious question would be why are there so many religions and so many different concepts of God; why are people so vehemently protective of their God to the destruction of yours? The entire 7.7 billion of earth’s inhabitants are in perfect accord about millions or even billions of scientific concepts. For instance, if arithmetic were a religion, there would be only one religion in the world and each of the 7.7 billion inhabitants would be of same like-mindedness. Each would know explicitly and in perfect accord that 2+2=4. There would be no hostilities, arguing, disagreements or negativity. There would be only perfect peace. Why then are all the earth’s inhabitants now and always have been at odds about a concept of God? The answer is as plain to see as the “nose on your face”—no one before me has ever defined the essence on God. Having an awareness of that fact forced me to define God’s essence. I’ll grant you it took me years of contemplation before the obvious struck me. As is usual with essential definitions, few words were needed. In fact, I was able to define God’s essence with six simple words—God is a perfect rational being. That definition is all inclusive and irrefutable. It is not subject to question, disillusionment, negation, expansion, or denial. It explains concisely the perfect rationality which designed our perfect universe and keeps it perfect. That definition removes all doubt; it solves all so-called mysteries. So with that understanding of God’s essence, religion as such needs to be abolished. The only justifiable religion is the universal church of thanksgiving. That church would continuously thank God for our existence, for our sustenance, and for our salvation. The greatest human benefit of that understanding would be universal like-mindedness which equilibrates to peace. In my little book, Wilderness Cry (covenant Books), I explain in detail how religion with its diverse and obtuse projections of God causes all the discord in the world. I explain the essential definition of God and show how lack of knowledge thereof has created the morass of universal turmoil we witness on a daily basis. I show explicitly how God’s perfect love negates any idea of hell or damnation. I show conclusively how eternity is a state of being; that heaven is a state of oneness with God for us all as well as everything in existence. I show how religion has adversely effected our legal system and literally every aspect of our lives. In my soon to be published book Peace in Spirituality (Covenant Books), I reiterate all the negativities associated with religion and show that peace is possible—it is possible only through universal acceptance of spirituality. Spirituality is the recognition and acceptance of the fact that every quantum of energy of which everything is made is “branded” with the image (perfect will-Holy Spirit) of its creator, God. Its as simple as 2+2=4. I highly recommend you read Wilderness Cry in preparation for Peace in Spirituality. Both are/will be available from all online book and e-book services (Amazon, B&N, etc.). In the meantime, write my definition of God’s essence on a piece of paper and indelibly in your mind. Consider all the principles flowing therefrom, and see how they “stack up” with what your preacher has to say. With an open, honest mind, you will likely discover that your religion and all religions are hoaxes because all are based on false premises. The writers of scripture have twisted the Holy Word to suit their desires—all for power, money and control. They have put God “over there” and we and all his creation “over here”. They have pitted God against his perfect creation—I show in my two little books how that is an impossibility. The apostle Paul seems to be the only writer to understand and accept what Jesus was teaching, but even he relented to political pressure and “jumped the track” in an attempt to save his own life—they killed him anyway. Jesus’ only teaching was love—love of God and love of neighbor. What is love? simply stated it is acceptance. Since God is perfect love, meaning acceptance without conditions, his rejection of anything he created is impossible. Jesus told us at the last supper, that the bread and wine they ingested were his body and blood, meaning that everything in existence was in him (God) and that he (God) was in everything—that remembrance has been labeled eucharist  which means thanksgiving.  We all need desperately to come to a like-mindedness about God so  that peace may prevail. Read my little books and understand.
