COMPROMISE- This “word of the day” usually means reaching an agreement acceptable to all by the process of all participants relinquishing part of their position. I have been pleading almost daily, for some time now, for world religious leaders to compromise their positions and come to a single commonality of acceptance. That acceptance is derived from the understanding that 1- we all worship the same Supreme Being; 2- we all are created by (children of) that same supreme Being; 3-as children of the same Supreme Being, we each are imprinted with the Spirit (image) of that Supreme Being. Therefore, we are united in a common spirituality. I have labeled that unchartered organization, the World-Wide Communion Of Spirituality. With that compromise of understanding, peace on earth is possible. Without such compromise of understanding, peace is impossible.
