Perfection: Do a little quick soul searching. Do you really understand what it means to be perfect, or, possibly, do you tend to glibly hear the term and brush it off as blather? My experience indicates that percentage-wise, very, very few people ascribe the proper attributes to perfection. Without absolute perfection, nothing in the universe could function. So what is this perfection and where is its basis?
I have stated many, many times in writing that every thing and every event of any kind is perfect in form and function and is a perfect example of what it purports to be. I am able to say that with certainty because of the known perfection of every quantum (tiniest particle if energy) which make up every gravid thing in existence. Each of those tiny particles with various names are absolutely perfect in form and function. Furthermore, there is not one more nor less in existence today than existed at the time of their inception (creation, release, appearance), and there will be no more nor less at the time of their recall. A combination of those tiny quanta make up the basic units of all atoms (protons, neutrons, electrons). A varying combination of those three basic units constitute the different elements in all creation. Those atoms may react with each other to form molecules; molecules react with each other to form compounds, and compounds can be formulated to create all the different materials in existence. All of those functions are perfect and predictable in their activity and results every time. That explains why when you get in your automobile and push the ignition button, the engine starts and you are able to navigate from place to place. That same example applies to every action or activity or occurrence of any kind in the entire universe.
You might legitimately ask, whats my point? Simply stated, my point is this. I want to shake you loose from your doldrums, and create an awareness of the perfection in all things. I want to make you think about your existence: how it came to be in the first place, how it continues, and what happens to it in the unknown hereafter. There are seemingly three basic classes of believers in the world: those who accept the concept of God; those who deny the concept of God; those who say simply they can’t (don’t) know.
For those like me who accept the idea of God, we must acclaim that God with his perfect intellect envisioned his creation (all the quanta in existence), and with his perfect will chose them and keeps them perfect. Therefore, it is impossible for anything or any occurrence to be imperfect. Every storm, every earthquake, every hurricane, every loaf of bread, every tree leaf, every grain of sand etc. is a perfect example of what it is. A second set of similar events and objects would be different from the first but each would still be perfect for its set of circumstances.
We sometimes get confused when “bad” things happen such as a car wreck and often start looking for excuses or someone to blame. We even question how God could allow such to happen. We fail to recognize that it was someone’s perfect negligence or a perfect mechanical failure, or a myriad of other perfect conditions which led to the perfect wreck. In other words, that specific wreck was a perfect result for its set of generating circumstances. So what’s my point. My point is we must always be aware of our obligation to know all that we can, to respect the perfection in everything we encounter, and more importantly be respectful of others; stop the blame game.
Those who deny God or say they simply can’t know, suggest that the perfect order in the universe “just happened”—even Stephen Hawking, the great quantum physicist, suggested such a possibility. The truth is, no one can prove nor disprove the existence of a Supreme being. That is where Faith comes in.
There are all kinds of faith: we have implicit faith that when we get on an airplane, it will take us safely to our intended destination. However, we are fully aware from previous experiences of others that failure of one kind or another may occur. Those failures are always the perfect result of a set of perfect faults which generated the outcome.
So my purpose here is to stimulate your awareness of God’s Perfection in “all things and events”.
I do not want to seem nor sound commercial, but if you want a more thorough understanding of these concepts, please read my little book Wilderness Cry (Amazon et al). In addition, I will be releasing a sequel “Peace in Spirituality” within a few months.
If someone asked you who God is, what would you tell them? How would you explain God’s essence to them so that you are communicating a clear, unmistakable picture to them? Would you possibly start quoting the Bible, or tell them about a certain religion, or possibly about a specific church you attend? If you did any of those things, would you expect your audience to visualize your exact “image” of God? Or do you even have a definitive “image” of God?
I would suggest the likelihood that you may do any or all of the above. However, I would also suggest that you would fail 100% in your effort. Your audience may come away with some vague (just as yours is vague) image of a God, but it could not possibly mirror yours or anyone’s else. How am I allowed to say that so bluntly? Very simply, no one is allowed to attempt to speak definitively about any entity whose essence he/she cannot define. Before me, no one has ever been able to define the essence of God. Great mystics and theologians for centuries have attempted; all failed. Without that essential definition, no one can know God. I defined God’s essence thus; “God Is A Perfect Rational Being”. That definition makes all concepts of God perfectly clear—we can now speak of God and its attributes with the same understanding as arithmetic. While we certainly cannot possibly know everything God knows, we do know some (science=knowledge=truth), and we, as rational beings, will know more and more as time goes on. We now have a perfect rational basis for contemplating, discussing, describing, and communicating God to others. We dispel the mythology and superstition surrounding God generated by religions—we are free to truly understand our God and its workings. We are now free to accept God’s Will which is everything that happens in this universe, rather than do God’s Will which is unknowable. You may find a complete explanation in my little book Wilderness Cry—Amazon, et. al.
Spirituality may be defined as recognition that the Spirit (Will) of God is imprinted on each of us as well as every thing in existence. With that recognition we must accept the premise that every human is brother/sister to each other. Therefore we must be at peace with each other. My call for recognition and acceptance of the World-Wide Communion Of Spirituality must be heeded by everyone. Think on that seriously and humble yourself individually to that acceptance.
This message is to alert you and make you aware that what I have written in my book, Wilderness Cry, and in many other communications, will some day be accepted and considered as absolute philosophical dogma. Most of you may well not live to see that day, and certainly I will not. However, the time is coming when the world will be forced to come to grips with the ultimate cause of perpetual strife, turmoil and war. The singular cause is cultist religion. I say that advisedly because all religion is cultist. The reason religions are cultist is because all are based on the worship of a Higher Power with different names such as God, Allah, Yahweh etc. None of those entities has ever been defined until now. Without a specific definition of the essence of that Higher Power, there can be no “single-mindedness” concerning It among the populace. Therefore, as of now and forever in the past, there are and have been as many imaginary Higher Powers as there have been people who ever existed; each one has had his own ill defined idea of the essence and nature of that power. Historically, ideas about that Power and how It is to be worshiped, as well as what expectations are to be forthcoming from it, have been so radically different as to generate perpetual hostilities worldwide.
Recognizing that enormous plight compelled me to do something never before done and that is to define the essence of our Creator. After fifty years of deliberation, I was able to define the essence of our Creator with six simple, irrefutable words. God Is A Perfect Rational Being. That definition says everything that could possibly be said. It covers and explains any and all attributes possibly attributable to that Being. It admits to God’s existence. It proclaims Gods singularity (triune but singular). It Admits to Gods eternal existence in the ever present. It proclaims God’s Perfection (nothing missing- nothing needed). It proclaims God’s perfect Rationality, meaning It envisioned all, Generated all, Knows all, and empowers all through Its Perfect Will, the Holy Spirit. It proclaims that God does, in fact, exist as a living Being.
What I have just written above has never been challenged by anyone. Of course, it “steps on a lot of toes”; religion is undoubtedly the grandest money-making and controlling scheme ever envisioned by mankind. So, it’s highly unlikely that all the preachers and hierarchy of the millions of churches world-wide will suddenly close and lock their doors. However, none of that activity negates the “truth” of what I just said. Consider this; if there were not a single rational mind in the world able to recognize that 2 + 2 = 4, it would not change the mathematical (philosophical) fact that it, indeed, always is.
Given that simple little example ( no rational mind can deny that 2 + 2 = 4), shows clearly that single-mindedness is possible. So also is Peace possible with a similar, single-minded acceptance of the essence of our Creator. However, the likely-hood of such acceptance is as-remote as the survival of the proverbial “snowball in Hell”. None of that changes nor negates in any way the absolute philosophical Truth which I just spoke. HLH
PEACE: Do you really want peace? Are you willing to come off your “high-horse” and compromise your thought processes? Or, are you eager for peace and perfectly willing to have peace only if everyone else bends their will to yours? My observation is the latter. Before we can discuss peace, we must recognize and admit to the cause of our perpetual discord. It requires only a very casual observation of our world to identify the culprit which is creating perpetual war and hostilities. That culprit, plain and simple, is religion.
From all recorded history, mankind has been at war in one way or another and, almost always, over religious and/or ideological differences. Why do you suppose that is? The reason, again, is quite obvious; all religion is based on some ill-defined idea of a higher power. Those ill-defined ideas are based on mythological concepts with no foundation in scientific fact nor philosophical soundness. That, of course, is the natural consequence of attempting to deal with a complicated subject without a commonly accepted “essential definition”. Consequently, with no essential definition of a Supreme Being, every human that ever lived has had a differing, vague, concept of such a Being. Just ask anyone to define the essence of their God and, likely, you will get a “blank stare combined with a sputtering of meaningless statements.
Absent “like-mindedness” among all people about the “essence” of our Supreme Being, there can be no unanimity of thought, acceptance and understanding about such a being, nor how It is to be worshiped, if at all. After exhaustive investigation of history, and religious literature, I have discovered that no one has ever been able to define the “essence” of our God (Supreme Being). Meister Eckhart, a famous Dominican Friar, spent his entire life attempting to analyze God and define Its essence, but fell woefully short in his attempts for one simple reason; he knew no science. He had no base of operation.
Observing all this perpetual hostility and confusion compelled me to define the essence of God once and for all. I did so with six, simple, irrefutable words. God Is A Perfect Rational Being. This simple, singular, essential definition explains all with no room for confusion nor discord. This definition demands that every rational being recognize and accept the basic concept that the image of God, the Holy Spirit, is imprinted on every single entity that ever existed; otherwise nothing could exist. That singular concept “demands” that each of us accept, unreservedly, the fact that we and all existences are united under one Singular Common Spirituality. As such, there is no quarter for any discord.
Therefore, once again, I am issuing my plea for recognition and acceptance of The world-Wide Communion Of Spirituality. Spirituality unites us and puts us at “Perfect Peace”. Religion, on the other hand is cultist, pitting us against each other, and promoting hostilities and discord. Does anyone see my point?
Do you understand that I am not demeaning ‘religious’ people. Literally, everyone is born into a ‘faith system’ which differs from all others, but which, in turn, pits them against each other. Even in the so-called Christian world, there is vehement and oft-times violent disagreement about Jesus, the Christ; about his beginning, his life, what he said and did, his death and thereafter. Why do you suppose that is?
I believe without doubt that the most basic cause stems from the fact that we have no reliable source of information. Such a possible source could be the bible. However, it has been written and re-written so many times that the ‘real truth’ has been lost. Instead of Jesus’ words, we have the words of biased men who have altered Jesus teachings to suit their own whims. I have addressed this many times in many places but in great detail in my book Wilderness Cry. One simple example involves the crucifixion stories of Luke and Matthew. Luke paints a picture of one insurgent becoming contrite and asking Jesus to remember him in Paradise, whereas Matthew suggests that both insurgents continued to revile Jesus till the end. Obviously both stories can’t possibly be true.
The most likely cause of all the confusion is the fact that the illiterate apostles simply did not understand what Jesus was telling them. So their ‘word of mouth’ teachings would have been a distortion of Jesus’ words in the first instance, and the listeners would have had even less understanding in the second instance. Remember, nothing was written for fifteen years after Jesus’ death, and those writings were by Paul who never laid eyes on Jesus. Paul’s sidekick, John Mark, wrote the first gospel several years later—he also never saw or heard Jesus.
In any event, there was obvious mass confusion, but true to form, a new ‘religion’ emerged—Judeo-Christian. While Jesus is reported by Paul to despise religion, ultimately the sacrificial Christian Jews won out. However, there was absolutely no unanimity of belief or religious practice until some 300 years after Jesus death when Constantine convened the first Council at Nicaea and mandated a singular practice enforced by the Roman army.
So fast forward to now—33,000 so-called Christian religions, and God only knows how many other world religions. Mind you, each of those entities proposes to be worshiping a singular entity. All of their worship is pure mythology because they have not and cannot define the ‘essence’ of that entity.
For the first time ever in the history of mankind, I have, in fact, defined God’s essence. With that understanding of God’s essence it is ‘possible’ to have peace. But before ‘peace’ can be achieved, religion as we know it must be abolished and replaced with a universal understanding and acceptance of spirituality. That single-mindedness would instantly produce tranquility, an essential synonym of peace. In my little book Peace in Spirituality, a fool-proof roadmap to peace is presented.
Press Releases and Video trailers for both Wilderness Cry and Peace in Spirituality are attached.
Philosophy is a set of accepted principles derived from a set of known or presumed facts. In the case of our existence and the existence of the entire universe, the prevailing philosophical understanding is based on what at that time were presumed facts, but which are now known to be completely false. At the time the philosophy by which we are shackled was developed, there was absolutely no scientific understanding of anything. All premises were based on mythology, astrology, imagination, and superstition– the earth was flat; the stars controlled all existences; the earth was supported on five unstable crocked legs, always in danger of plunging into the netherworld below; all babies were in the male semen; etc. ad nauseum. Here we are two to four thousand years later still shackled with such idio albeit not quite as bad.
We do know, in fact, a great amounts of scientific information — factual knowledge not known then— we know the earth is round (spherical); the sun is the center of our little universe (solar system); the universe is filled with trillions of galaxies containing billions and trillions of stars (suns); light traveling at the rate of 186,000 miles/sec is just now reaching our earth after traveling 13.7 billion years — it would take light traveling at the same speed of 186,000 m/sec 100 thousand years to traverse the face of our galaxy, the Milky Way, alone —imagine, if you can, the size of a universe a trillion times that large; the female carries the egg of life in her ovaries and it must be fertilized by the male sperm to produce life. More importantly, we know that each and every entity in the universe is made of identical and perfect tiny particles of energy with varying names cumulatively known as quanta. It is that singular knowledge which has given rise to my philosophical assessment of our universe and its existence. That assessment, of course, presumes and essentially defines a Supreme Being (God) who imagined, willed, and keeps each particle perfect.
Since the beginning of recorded history, mankind has recognized a higher power. Without any scientific understanding their imaginations ran wild. Consequently, their god(s) were imbued with every magical and superstitious power imaginable except the singular important one, science which is known truth. Throughout history, great thinkers and theologians have struggled to no avail, helplessly and hopelessly, to define the “essence” of their God. The reason for their failure is simple. God cannot be defined in superstitious and/or magical terms. Since God is “ALL” knowledge, It must be defined in absolute scientific and philosophical terms. Since, no one knew science at that time, definition was impossible, try as hard as they may. Recognition of that dilemma, associated with the readily visible folly of religion, I was prompted to do something never before done in history, and that is “define the essence of our Supreme Being. Note I use the term Supreme Being, because it encompasses all deities of all religions and cults. I defined the essence of God thus: “Godis a Perfect Rational Being“. Those six, simple, little words are all inclusive and irrefutable. My contention is that the Spirit of God permeates “brands” every single quantum of energy in existence. Consequently, each remains perfect in all respects (form and function). Therefore, there is not, has not been, and cannot possibly be, any event in this universe that is not a “perfect result of what it was intended to be”. God is Perfect, so change is impossible. In order for any so-called miracle to occur, God’s nature would have to change — an impossibility.
Now. I must digress a moment to remind you that no one can prove the existence of a Supreme Being (God). Likewise, no one can disprove it either. So then, belief in God is the only legitimate faith we can have. I feel justified in my belief in God because of the absolute perfection that exists in our universe. It could have just ‘happened’, as many scientists have proclaimed. We have no way of knowing for certain. However, because of the perfect rationality that exists in our universe, if there is a God, it must be defined as a Perfect Rational Being.
Scientists have shown rather convincingly that it all began with a Big Bang nearly fourteen billion years ago when all of the tiny particles of energy, collectively known as quanta, which form the substrate of every atom in existence were released simultaneously — we recognize that those particles were released from a singularity (God) no larger than a pinhead — can you imagine —all the energy and matter in this massive universe being compressed by its own gravity into such a tiny speck? They immediately began forming the protons and neutrons which combined with electrons to make up all atoms, and in perfect fashion. At that instant change began. We humans, who seem to have appeared near fourteen billion years later, measure that change in units we call time. WE do that for a multiplicity of reasons, but the most recognizable is for ordering and structuring our daily living activities. Scientists use time and other measurement methods, of which most of us are unaware, to ‘look back into time’ at its beginning.
The big question is why would or could all that just happen on its own. An even bigger question is, if there is a God, what is/are his intentions in doing so — is this just a ‘play-thing toy for him/it? Most who have imagined God as an individual separate from his creation have suggested all sorts of reasons, and most of those reasons have prompted the development of ‘religion’— to please/appease an angry him/it/them. Those religion developments have created havoc on our tiny sphere of turf — we are in imminent danger of imploding at any second.
On the other hand, I, like Jesus, Saint Francis of Assisi, and many others have recognized God’s presence in everything in existence, which not only includes our bodies but also ever gravid existence in this universe. That recognition mandates a graphic definition of Trinity God.
Here is that graphic picture for you: God, the Father with his perfect Intellect reflects upon himself and sees a mirror image. Being in eternity means that reflection is a Perfect living Being also, the Son or second person. The Father and Son, two perfect intellects, viewing each other have no choice except to accept, love, and choose each other. That accepting, loving, choosing each other is the Will of God, the Holy Spirit of God or the third person of the Trinity. Because, just as its source (the Father), the Perfect Intellect Reflection (Son) perceived each of those particles and his perfect Will chose each of them, by necessity, each is branded with the Holy Spirit which keeps them perfect — they account for the Perfect Rationality which pervades our universe. Not only that but they also account for my justification in defining God’s essence as ‘A Perfect Rational Being, and simultaneously, demand my graphic description of the Trinity.
So, why do we exist? What are God’s ultimate intentions? My intelligence is way too limited to know his intentions, but he did give me the intelligence to see and recognize his perfection in action — I am delighted to be able to have the courage to share it with you.
Having said all that brings me to the point of my treatise. All religion is based on some writings. Those writings are based on the superstitious, ignorant, and biased attitudes of the writers. Therefore, we all have been brainwashed with an ignorant, biased, superstitious, magical set of writings which bear no resemblance to the truth.
Look around you and look at history. Mankind is/has been in perpetual turmoil because of terribly misguided idea(s), religion. Religion is cultist and divisive and has/does cause most of the turmoil in the world. Spirituality, on the other hand is loving and uniting. Spirituality is the recognition and acceptance that the spirit of God, the Holy Spirit pervades every entity in existence in this universe. Consequently, several years ago, I called for The WorldwideCommunion of Spirituality which means each of us recognize and accept our commonality with every existence through communion with the Holy Spirit (Will of God).
If you have further interest, you will find a complete exploration of these ideas in my three philosophy books which are based on both science and sound philosophical principals. They are titled Wilderness Cry, Peace in Spirituality, and Provocative Catholic. If you would like to know more about me, Growing Up In Fancy Farm Kentucky will hold your interest. All are available from Amazon-Kindle, both hard copy and digital or from me, autographed, at handg@comcast.net.
I welcome any and all meaningful discussion regarding these subjects.
I am writing this short note today to remind each of you of a very important concept in your lives. If you accept as I do, Jesus’ command that we love our neighbor as ourselves, then you are compelled to accept and relate to my call for recognition and acceptance of the World-Wide Communion Of Spirituality. That means we recognize the same Spirit permeates each of us; as such we are all sisters and brothers. It is only through that recognition that we are able to follow Jesus’ command to love one another as ourselves.
God: What an explosive word! Do you believe in a God and if so, why? If you don’t believe in God (atheist), why not? If you are a believer, and you are discussing God with your neighbor who also is a believer, how would the two of you communicate your God to each other? Would the two of you be discussing the same entity, or would each of you be using the same word with different understandings of that word? That is the likely scenario. And you might ask why I would make such an outlandish statement. My reason is very clear. I am as certain as can be that neither of you can define your God. You may have a vague idea, based on Old Testament Biblical descriptions, of a Grizzled old man sitting on a throne, or perhaps, disguised, all but His bust, by a cloud. This old dude is eternally stern-browed, perpetually unhappy with you and the entire world. Seemingly, there is no way to appease Him except through strict ritualistic practices associated with sacrifices of one kind or another, known as religion. You are never assured that your feeble attempts at appeasement are successful, so you live in constant fear of eternal damnation. Seemingly, both you and your neighbor are talking about the same entity. However, on closer analysis, we discover that neither of you knows the other’s God. The reason is obvious, because one of you is Roman Catholic and the other is Southern Baptist. And to top it all off, along comes two more neighbors to join in the conversation—one is Mormon and the other is Lutheran. None of the four of you are in any agreement at all about the necessity for appeasement nor how it is to be done. Before you know it, another neighbor who is atheist joins the foray, and, of course, she disagrees with you all. She says determinedly that there is no way that a grizzled old man could manufacture and maintain our universe all the while fighting the forces of the nether-world. Visibly, it is very clear and certain that no two individuals in the universe worship the same entity. And why do you suppose that is? The reason is extremely simple; no one until now has ever defined the “essence” of our Supreme Being. Without that necessary, absolute definition, common understanding is absolutely impossible. There can be no single-mindedness. That condition has created the eternal hostile morass the world has experienced since the inception of recorded history.
Recognizing the above described discord and disorder prompted me to seek a solution to the problem. It became readily clear to me that all the problems have been created by the singular lack of definition of the “essence” of our Divine Creator. Essence is that quality which makes any entity what it basically is. Absent an essential definition, we cannot possibly communicate rationally about anything. Therefore, I was compelled to Define The Essence God. That I did with six simple, irrefutable words. God Is A Perfect Rational Being. That definition brings God’s essential nature into the realm of clear understanding for everyone. Allow me to explain: When we say God, we acclaim Its existence; when we say Is, we accept that It is always in the present; when we say A, we recognize that there is no other (singular, but triune); when we say Perfect, we mean that It is whole and complete–It cannot possibly be changed, because any change would negate Its perfection; when we say Rational, we recognize the two qualities of rationality, an intellect which perceives, and a will which achieves; when we say Being, we recognize that It exists. Notice, I use the word It to describe God–the reason is simple–God has no gender. If It did have gender, then It would be fertile, generating all sorts of imaginary mates and offspring.
Using the above definition of God’s Presence allows each of us to arrive at a similar, complete understanding of the nature of our Supreme Being—we all would be like-minded. There is no room for debate. Philosophically, all understanding is unified. I believe that with this essential definition, most atheists would come on board, recognizing the sound philosophical approach. We could make many observations contrary to current beliefs and practices. Just a few for now: To your astonishment, miracles are impossible; a miracle would require a change in God’s nature–remember God’s perfection negates any possibility of change. God can be neither pleased nor displeased—either of these entities would indicate a deficiency in God’s perfection–an impossibility. The concept of Hell is irrational–God is Perfect Love which means It accepts us the way we are regardless–any rejection would negate God’s perfection. All the begging and pleading (prayers of petition) are irrational and selfish because, again, we are asking selfishly for God to change Its nature just for the selfish, egotistical “us”. All religion is irrational because it fails to recognize God’s perfection–it is, however, extremely self-serving, ever grasping for more power, money and control of our lives–and , in doing so, creating eternal discord on our earth. Our only justifiable, but not necessary, prayer is “Thank You Lord God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit (Will Of God). Amen.
I would strongly urge each of you to think on the above concepts and see how they apply to you and your understanding, or lack thereof, of your God. In addition I would strongly urge you to read, if you have not already, my powerful little book, Wilderness Cry; Amazon, Kindle ET. Al.
One more thought. Have you come to grips with the obvious concept that only one Supreme Being is possible. that means that every named Deity (God, Yahweh, Allah, Brahma, Buddha, etc) are all one and the same; a rose by any other name is still a rose. When the world comes to the above “like-mindedness”, peace will prevail—until then the turmoil beat goes on. H.L.H.
COMMON SENSE: WE hear this term used frequently in our every-day conversations and discussions. In general, it seems to imply an innate understanding of something without benefit of advance learning or education in the particular subject of discussion. Most often, the “common sense” method is applicable with correct results. Occasionally, however, what readily seems to be an obvious truth, may, in fact, be erroneous due to unknown extenuating circumstances. That, of course, is reason enough for us to show some reserve in our common sense “cock-sure attitude”. With that understanding, I would like to put you to little test of “Common sense”.
1- Assume that you are a young farmer, who wants to row-crop farm 2000 acres. You are almost totally ignorant of the farming process. Which source of information would your common sense direct you to: an astrologer/sage from 6000 yrs ago, or modern-day agricultural experts?
2-Assume you wanted to be an airline pilot. Would your common sense direct you to that same astrologer/sage from 6000 yrs ago or a modern avionics training facility?
3-Assume you wanted to design and build a 75 story sky-scraper hotel and you were totally ignorant about the process, would you consult an astrologer/sage from 6000 years ago, or would your common sense direct you to modern, highly educated architects and engineers?
Without intentionally demeaning anyone, I believe that if you chose the astrologer/sage from 6000 years ago for specific advise about any of the above considerations, you would be a complete fool, and would be exhibiting total lack of common sense.
Now lets consider the question of the most important thing in out lives; our “Eternal Existence”. Should not our common sense dictate that we accept the advice of modern-day philosophers, theologians, etc. concerning such matters rather than the skewed, superstitious, selfish, astrologer/sages from 6-8000 years ago? They started humanity out with an irrational concept of God (Supreme Being) based on absolutely no scientific knowledge of the universe. Their concepts were based on superstitions and imaginations which had absolutely no foundation in fact. It may, in fact, seemed to them like “common Sense” at the time. However, as stated before, sometimes, commonsense is thwarted by unseen, unknown, or even unimaginable knowledge. Be that as it may, humanity has been “stuck” with that 6-8000 year old irrational, undefinable, and totally misunderstood concept of God. Additionally, since Jesus appeared on the scene, the stories about Him and His Father have become so distorted and fragmented that basically anyone claiming to be Christian is a Church/religion unto him/herself. The reason for all that confusion is clear. No one, prior to now, has ever defined the essence of our God (Supreme Being). Common sense teaches us that without essential definition, there cannot possibly be common, unified understanding. Seemingly, we have come to the “point of no return”. Each of the 33,000 Christian denominations is dug-in like a badger protecting its turf. No longer, if ever, does “religion” offer any real guidance or genuine concern about our eternal destiny. Its only concern is “MONEY- POWER- CONTROL. Expanding the empire is both the stated and unstated goal. So-called missionaries are swarming the earth like ants in an attempt to gain converts to their way of thinking.
Having an awareness of this terrible morass caused me to seek the answer. It came to my attention that the basic problem centered on concepts of God (Yahweh, Allah, Buddha, Brahma, etc). There was no unanimity of thought or understanding of these entities, so it was impossible to have universal harmony. With that understanding, I set out to do something never before done. Some may say, by the grace of God, I succeed. I do not know where nor how the idea struck me, but out of the clear blue, the “essence of God became crystal clear”. Suddenly, I was able to define the Essence of God with six simple words. God Is A Perfect Rational Being. That essential definition is philosophically irrefutable. At the same time, it explains all the so-called mysteries in our lives. Because God is Perfect Love, Hell, Purgatory and the like are an impossibility. Perfect Love means “acceptance without conditions”. Jesus understood that concept completely and He tried desperately hard to instill it in His apostles. How successful he was, we’ll never know because the original writings are no longer available. All we have are the biased writings of zealots made from a 200-300 year old copy which, itself, was only one of thousands of hand written copies. If anyone wants to know what Jesus really taught, you must read the Coptic Gospel Of Thomas (The Secret Sayings Of Jesus Christ). In that Gospel Jesus tells his apostles at least thirty times the same thing in different words trying to get the to understand, namely, that He was in all things and all things were in Him. His illiterate apostles apparently couldn’t understand (maybe they did—we’ll never know in this life). Had Jesus truly been a “GOD-MAN”, He would have had no problem communicating. However, since he was a super-genius human who recognized that God’s Spirit (Will) was imprinted on him and every thing in existence, he preached a cult of love; we must all love our God with our all, and we must all love one another as ourselves. That got Him killed–the Jews wanted no part of such heresy. Jesus knew that He must and would die for one reason only. God must pay the price for all the iniquity (selfishness)in the universe, thereby becoming “Perfect Love”.
So, let your “common sense” be your guide. Would you rather have an idea of God dreamed up by astrologers/sages 6-8000 years ago which explains nothing and has led to constant turmoil since, or would you choose a modern irrefutable definition of God which explains all. My common sense says the latter. With that understanding, and only with that understanding, is the concept of “universal like-mindedness” possible. That understanding is the only path to world peace. With that understanding, I have called for recognition and acceptance by all people of the “World-Wide Communion Of Spirituality”. Simply stated, that concept recognizes that God’s Brand is stamped on each of us. As such, we are all brothers-and sisters. We all would be of one mind-set with a common sense definition of the Essence of God.
I am not unaware that this line of thought is foreign to most. However, if you opened your minds and hearts to “Common Sense”, it might cease to seem foreign.
As an adjunct and guide to this understanding, I would encourage everyone to read my little philosophy book, Wilderness Cry. Available Amazon, Kindle, ET AL.
INTUITION: This beautiful English word describes the intellectual ability to recognize and comprehend truth under conditions and/or circumstances which otherwise tend to be obscured or camouflaged. Intuition con-notates an insightful ability to ferret out truth which otherwise is hidden from most individuals. So, the world is rife with seemingly insoluble problems, all or most of which involve hostilities, or at a minimum evidence of gross selfishness and/or greed. Essentially all major differences are based on ideological and/or religious differences. One might reasonably ask why the differences? Why are the peoples of the world not of one, singular, mind-set? The answer is clear, the solution very murky. Throughout all of recorded history, different groups of people have conjured up ideas concerning a “higher power” or lack thereof. Each group has developed a scheme of understanding different from all others. In addition, since they were generated during a time of total scientific void, all are based on significant mythological ideas that have no relationship nor basis in reality. Therefore, as those ideologies and religions sprang forth regionally, each has been in a constant effort of expanding through both proselytizing and hostile aggression. What we have today is numerous major religions, each with varying divisions and sub-divisions. In Christianity alone, there are 33,000 denominations. Likely, when all are tallied, if possible, the total number of religious denominations would number in the hundreds of thousands. Mind you, each one of those denominations claims to be the one and only true religion. That situation, of course, sets the stage for continuing and continual hostilities, if not overt, at least subliminal. With that readily recognizable knowledge, it is very easy to see and understand the “cause” of the problem. What about the “solution”? Believe it or not, every problem has a concrete solution based on absolute fact and truth. That is where, Intuition, Insight, Honesty and Humility come into play. Lets begin with the basic premise that Peace must be based on “Like-mindedness”. All of humanity must have the same conceptualization of a Supreme Being. How is that to be possible? Lets consider what we have now; thousands and thousands of religious sects, each with the professed idea of a Supreme Being, but no two of which have the same idea and/or understanding. Why does that situation prevail? Very Simply, for a variety of reasons ( ignorance, selfishness, lack if insight and/or intuition, lack of/or acceptance of known science). Not one single person before me has ever “defined the essence” of our Supreme Being. The only way we can have “like-mindedness” is to have a clear-cut definition of the entity we label as a Supreme Being (God, Yahweh, Allah, Brahma, Buddha, etc.). I have in fact, in my powerful little philosophy book, Wilderness Cry , defined the Essence of God. With that essential definition, every human can and must conceptualize our SB with an essential like-mindedness. By defining the Essence of God as “A Perfect Rational Being”, I am able to remove any and all doubt about SB’s nature. It is perfect in all respects; therefore change is not possible. It has created every quantum of energy that make up everything in existence; each of them is perfect in form and function by virtue of SB’s Perfect Will (Holy Spirit). SB is “perfect love), meaning It accepts us and all our selfishness without conditions. That concept negates any idea of Hell, Purgatory etc. The genius Jesus, recognized that His soul and the soul of everything in existence mirrored its Creator. He saw that everything in existence was evil by virtue of its selfishness. He also saw that selfishness was necessary for the universe to function. He realized that in order for SB to be perfect love, It must “pay the price” of acceptance of all iniquity by dying in atonement. Jesus Insight and Intuition, led Him to know that since He was the only person to understand that fact, He was the “Chosen One”, the Messiah who had to pay the price. He was our representative. He did so willingly, but with great human angst. Consequently, our only “justifiable” prayer is “Thank you Lord God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit (Will of God). Amen. Have I shown you conclusively how proper insight and intuition can and must lead to world peace? Without that “Like-mindedness”, humanity and every living thing on this earth is DOOMED. Now consider this. Lets assume that by some miracle, the entire world accepted my philosophy, what would happen to religion. Instantly, there would be no need for any church, preacher, priest, bishop, pope, etc. In our like-mindedness of understanding of our SB as A PERFECT RATIONAL BEING, religion and pagan ideologies would instantly be “Null and Void”. I might add, parenthetically, that the chance of such understanding and acceptance by organizes religion would be equal to the proverbial “snowball in hell” scenario. That obvious fact does not, in any way, negate the absolute truth of what you just read. The only way that change would ever be possible, is from grass-roots up. If the public is not educated and brought to an insightful level of understanding, nothing will change for the better. That is why I plead for everyone to read my little book–it explains all.
