MOTHER’S DAY- Honoring our mothers on this special day only reminds us of how privileged we are to be here. Furthermore, it should serve as a launch- pad for honoring them on a moment to moment basis forever. The amount of work, pain, strain and concern that mothers endure is monumental.
In light of that, Ginny and I have had the good fortune to be able to observe a pair of robins attending their nest with newly hatched young in a bush just out our kitchen window. When first hatched, the feeding chore seemed leisurely. However, during the last week or so, it has reached a frenzied pitch. Three yawning mouths stayed wide open constantly. Both mamma and papa worked feverishly throughout every daylight hour bringing worms and insects to those bottomless craters.
Finally, just this morning, we were privileged to observe one of the three exit the nest, stretch its wings repeatedly, preen repeatedly, and finally after two hours or so take flight onto a limb of an adjacent oak tree. The remaining one of the three was up and sitting on the nest rim constantly chirping for another worm which was readily obliged by both parents. Unfortunately, we missed the exit of the first one from the nest.
I am certain as I am sitting in this chair, that those parents combined made well over one hundred feeding trips to their nest daily—such was their dedication. In addition, I was able to observe that both parents seemed to shrink in size by at least thirty percent—their work ethic and dedication was so strenuous.
We have two vegetable gardens and are constantly working the dirt for one reason or another—planting, weeding etc. Robins are everywhere, and they will run up to within three to four feet to grab an unearthed worm with seemingly no fear nor hesitation. I’m guessing we have at least ten to fifteen nesting pairs nearby, and they all have been exhibiting the same behavior.
Now lets get back to human mothers. I’ll grant you its much less trying in modern times having a baby and raising a child from convenience standpoint. In addition the pain of labor and childbirth has been reduced for most my modern medicine—its still no picnic.
Can you imagine what life was like in Jesus’ time— living in shacks and caves, dirt roads, no electricity, no automobiles, no convenience of any kind. How miserable attempts at personal hygiene must have been, to say nothing of a baby’s alimentary needs.
I can relate to that—that’s exactly how I and my five brothers were raised. I look back and reminisce about those days—I wonder how we ever made it. I can tell you how—my mother and father were as dedicated and determined as any pair of robins you’ll ever see. They worked their ‘fingers to the bone’.
So, in light of that, I am eternally grateful for my mother and father. It was through their encouragement, and by observing their dedication, drive and work ethic that we, each in turn, became educated and somewhat prosperous. Furthermore, we each made significant contributions to society—-thank you, thank you, thank you mom—you showed us how to do it.
Let it be known, my mom was /is special to me—I trust your mom is just as special. Motherhood is an innate instinct instilled in us by our creator. That creator, with his Perfect Rarionality (the esence of God), made no mistake. How grateful should we be!!!
Thank you Lord God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit (Will of God), for my mom and for your perfection. Amen.

IMMUNITY-This seems to be a very appropriate topic for today’s discussion. I presume that most people have a cursory understanding of immunity. In the field of biological science, it refers to the ability of an organism to resist infection from bacterial or viral agents through the development of antibodies to those specific agents. Those antibodies are usually developed from either previous infection with a specific organism, or by being exposed to killed versions of the organism through a process of inoculation with its vaccine.
Two years ago, I began writing a thesis on how Peace may be achieved. Peace in Spirituality was published less than a year ago. It outlines all of the causes of hostilities in the world. Furthermore, it shows conclusively the absolute only pathway to peace.

All one has to do is investigate a teensy-weensy bit to understand that the bible was written, rearranged and rewritten dozens, maybe hundreds of times by people who ‘had an axe to grind’. They were all astrologers at heart—the celestial bodies controlled everything—even the ‘star of Bethlehem’ led the astrologers (magi, wise men) to King Herod in search of baby Jesus. That made a great story for those who knew that the ‘earth was flat’, who knew that the earth was the ‘center of the universe, who knew that God was a grizzled old man sitting in the clouds ready and willing to ‘crack the whip’ on anybody or anything that crossed him. They had absolutely no idea of science which is knowledge, which is truth.
ESATER-What a glorious day—so most of us have been taught to think and believe. So, what’s so glorious about Easter? If someone ask you to explain the significance of Easter, what would you tell them?—would you have a definitive answer? I truly would like to hear a few of those answers.
When Jesus began speaking and teaching of an ‘all loving God’, the Jews mind-set just was not ready nor capable of accepting such a philosophy. Jesus was quite aware of their attitude—he recognized that his task was severe, but he accepted the challenge. Knowing full well that his message would not be well accepted by the Jewish hierarchy, Jesus stayed in the shadows trying desperately to educate his apostles and followers to his ‘new commandments of love’—God and neighbor. It seems very doubtful that he ever succeeded—-We’ll never know.
But what about the ‘Resurrection’?—Jesus had told his followers he ‘first had to die’. In their greed and exclusionary demeanor, they had to have a recreation of Paradise and they had to have it now. They could see plainly that Jesus was dead—-he had to come right back to finish the job. That meant he had to ‘raise from the dead’ and ‘ascend into heaven’—the ‘second coming ‘ was both mandatory and immanent. Therein lies Paul’s injunction to his followers to ‘abandon their usual lifestyles of marriage, family, children, etc.; put on a holy face and prepare for Jesus immanent return—maybe tomorrow’ (paraphrased).
What did happen is this—through his teaching and death, Jesus ‘turned on the lights of God’s truth and love’. He became the Christ—the light of the universe. He demonstrated for all to see the perfect love of God.
