TRINITY: How many times in your life have you heard and/or used the word Trinity? More importantly, how have you reacted to its hearing or use? If your experience has been anyway similar to mine, and I strongly suspect it has, then you have been continually inundated with combined feelings of doubt, guilt, anxiety, querulousness, suspicion, bewilderment, and even anger. The reason for all those emotional reactions is simply that we are expected to believe and accept something that nobody can explain—its a mystery we are told and unknowable. Our common rationality kicks into high gear immediately—we are expected to believe something no one can explain? How can that be? I pondered that question for fifty years. Realizing  that the concept of Trinity God came from Jesus’ teachings as depicted in the Bible, it occurred to, me that if Jesus were teaching it, understanding should be rather simple. After countless readings of the New Testament, and observing repeated discrepancies, it occurred to me that the writers of the Bible either didn’t understand what Jesus was saying or simply didn’t believe him. From my standpoint it was impossible to determine which, but ultimately, I decided it made no difference—I would make sense of it anyway. The first task was to define the essence of God. That I did with six simple little words—God is a Perfect Rational Being. That definition says it all. More importantly, it removes all mystery from our lives. All we need do is be humble and accept it—organized religions never have and likely never will. They are not about to give up their Power, Money, Control. However, as an individual seeking truth, those entities are not in my domain—I am free to think rationally and more importantly free to accept the truth where I find it. So here is what I found. The definition of God’s essence a  perfect rational being not only allows but demands Trinity. You may explode in derision—just hold on; ,I’m going to “blow you away”. Just what is perfect rationality? It is a Perfect Intellect which perceives all and a Perfect Will which achieves all that the Perfect Intellect perceives. Now consider this—what would a Perfect Intellect reflect upon  or perceive? Obviously something perfect if available. Well, the only perfect thing in existence is itself—so that Perfect Intellect reflects upon itself and what does it see?—-a perfect “mirror image” of itself—the Second Person of the Trinity. Since God exists in the Supernatural, that mirror image is a living being also. Now we have two Perfect Intellects perceiving each other. What choice do they have except to accept (love, choose, will) each other. That perpetual willing, loving, choosing each other carries the image of its generator, and is the Will of God—the Holy Spirit. So there you have a clear visual of the Trinity—three identical persons, one God—mystery solved. The solution of that mystery demands a complete about face for the Aristilian, Aquinian philosophy upon which all three Abrahamic religions have been built. Each of those religions have put God here and his creation over there. Jesus told us differently. He said the Kingdom of God is spread out all over the earth about you and you don’t see it. He said “this is my body and this is my blood” meaning that his spirit (the Spirit of God) is in everything and everything is in God. God and his creation are one. Every grain of sand and grain of salt; every drop of water; every gravid object in this universe is branded with the image of God. Every tint particle of energy which makes up every gravid object is perfect in both form and function—it is kept that way by the Holy Spirit (will) of God. In light of all that many fallacies can be laid to rest.  The so-called miracles people speak of are figments of imagination. In order for a miracle to happen, God would have to change his nature—a complete impossibility. Something perfect as God is cannot change. Understandably, people want to plead with God to do this or that. That ideation shows a complete lack of understanding of the nature of God. Our only justifiable prayer is “Thank You Trinity God for our existence, for our sustenance and for our salvation.
